Steve Durant is a PhD candidate in the health policy stream of the Health Services Research Program at the Institute of Health Policy, Evaluation and Management, University of Toronto. As a Health Services Performance Research Network trainee, Steve is working with the Ontario policy group to develop conceptual and practical research methodologies for analyzing policy related to community based primary health care for high-needs older adults. Steve's dissertation research is related to community based health and social care for persons with mental health issues and illnesses.
Steve has a Master's degree in public policy, administration and law, and a B.A. (Hons.) in political science. He formerly worked in research communications for the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research and the Ontario Health Study.
